The developers also remained remarkably quiet in October too, with no clue as to where or when Halloween Terror will launch – if at all!
However, as one of the Redditors pointed out, Blizzard may have dropped the game in a recent interview with Eurogamer.
The subject of the interview itself was more about the upcoming launch of Overwatch on Nintendo Switch, which will be released next week on October 15th.
However, the chief games producer, Matthew Hawley, was specifically asked if Switch will have all the same competitive gaming modes and other content we are used to on PC and other console versions. In response, Hawley stated:
“As we do with Windows PCs and other console platforms, we will try to commit ourselves to have every patch for one platform launched. simultaneously with the same All existing versions of Overwatch contain a stack of features. We really want a parity of functionality between all versions of the game. ”
As a follow-up, Eurogamer asked if it would also include all seasonal events and Hawley stated:
“Indeed, when we go live on Switch, there is Anything else is going on overwatch servers that day. ”
Okay, so there are” fun things “with Overwatch on launch day of Switch. When pushed further for teasing, Hawley simply suggested that readers could “somehow connect the dots” before admitting their enthusiasm for October 15th.
For what it’s worth, October 15 is also a Tuesday, which, as we mentioned, is when Blizzard is known for launching new events.
So it seems likely that we could witness the launch of the Halloween Terror event next Tuesday, which is a slight delay compared to the usual procedure, but not so far that people should no longer s & # 39; asleep.
For now, read all we know about this year’s Halloween Terror event
Halloween Terror Overwatch 2019 – Skins
Nothing has been confirmed, but since the Halloween Terror event last year, we witnessed the launch of three new heroes: Baptiste, Ashe and Sigma.
Since these three people do not have a Halloween skin yet, it is reasonable to think that they will each have a new skin at this event.
We also looked at which characters deserved a Halloween skin, thanks to superb research on Reddit from user ProfessorDano.
The Redditor has presented in great detail which characters have been given the skins of the Halloween Terror event in recent years and what this means for the likelihood that the characters will get a new skin for this event .

Halloween Terror Overwatch 2019 – What to Expect
There are currently 222 Halloween Terror items (including 116 items in the 2016 series, 63 items in the 2017 series, and 43 items of the 2018 series)).
Most, if not all of them, will be available to players during the event, with seasonal items falling into special chests.
The exception is in the form of R.I.P. Poses of Victory (with the exception of Reaper’s), which were removed from the looted box pool from 2018.
These items can still be unlocked from the gallery Heroes in the event, however – we’ll see if it’s the same thing this year.
