There are several usages of these items that can be used as decoration or a means of filling up the empty spaces of the house or office.

1. Hanging Lights

The most common idea for using an empty wine bottle is to use them as hanging lights. During winters, this can be extremely useful. Also, these hanging lights will give different shades of light varying as per the colours of the wine bottle.

To create these lights, firstly, put a cotton wick in a bowl containing acetone. Pack or wrap the cotton around the bottom of the wine bottle. Set the wick on fire using a lighter. Immerse the whole bottom in frigid water. Keep it immersed until the lower part of the bottom separates from the upper part. Now apply sandpaper to smoothen the edgy part at the bottom. Finally, get a light cord and put the bulb to see the result. This way, the wine bottle hanging lights will be installed.

2. A Cheap Terrarium

A small terrarium can be easily created using empty juice bottles. This will give a unique touch to your house as it is not common to have indoor terrariums inside a thin bottle. A few items are required for preparing a terrarium in an empty wine bottle; these are small pebbles, activated charcoal, moss, soil, seeds, and suitable decorative items if required. There are no additional guidelines or processes to be followed.

3. Floating Candle Holders

One of the best crafty ideas with the scrap-emptied glass bottle is to keep the bottle’s lower half as a candle holder. For this, take a bottle cutter and cut the bottle in two halves horizontally. Rub the bottom edges of the lower half of the bottle using sandpaper. Pour water up to the brim. Now put the floating candles into it. Do this with several candles; this will make the area more glooming and pleasant.

4. Collaged Map Wine Bottle

Collaged map wine bottles are a complete waste-made article. This is most suitable for kids as it is effortless to make. To create this, design a collage around the bottle. Create interesting texts, figures, and patterns to give it a customized visual.

Take a paper map and cut that into small pieces. Now, stick these pieces around the bottle. Customize further with the best artistic skills. This is a fantastic way to get your kids involved in some creative skills as they can draw and add colours to the decorative bottles.

5. Torches Made from Wine Bottles

Wine bottle tiki torches are one of the best ways wine bottles give a perfect blend of usage and decoration. For making these torches, take some pebbles and put them in the empty glass bottle. Put a cotton wick into a coupling object. After this, add oil to the bottle and put the same wick in the bottle now. Light the wick, and the torch-cum candle will be ready.

6. Memory Keeper: A Picture Frame

Wine bottles can be an excellent and cost-effective picture frame. This decorative bottle idea sounds impractical, but it can be made very quickly. To create the photo frame, the waste bottle must be clean and transparent (not coloured).

Take the wine bottle and put a decent amount of sand and seashells in it. Now using the sand as a firm stand, insert or immerse the photographs in the sand. Put a cork on the top of the bottle to give it more value. Customize the bottle accordingly.

7. Table Making

Creative minds can also create small tables using long-empty juice or wine bottles. It is impossible to think of this idea, but the bottles can be used as legs of a table. To successfully make a mini-table, you will require a wooden board, painting brush, measuring tape, drill bit, high-speed jigsaw, and sandpaper.

Firstly, cut and shape the wooden board. Shape it according to the best suited or desired shape, like a circular or rectangular table. Drill the wooden board and get the necessary holes where there will be the legs of the table. Carefully put the wine bottles in the drilled holes to finish the making of the mini-table.

8. Christmas Decorations

At several festivals (especially Christmas), wine bottles can be used for many purposes. You can easily use these bottles for creating elf wine bottle covers. Make and design elf hats of a particular shape using a bright colour cloth. Use creative ideas to make the beard and round nose of the elf. For this, you can also fix pom-poms and fur. Now, immerse the hat into the bottle.

With the bottles coming in different sizes and shapes, it becomes easier to give birth to more usages. Such decorative ideas occupy empty spaces very quickly without even bothering or spending too much. Households have started getting the essence of modernity as well as giving back to worrying environmentalists.
