It’s no secret that Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin have done badly after Philbin’s departure from their show, but although some of their fans hoped the two were able to leave this incident behind at the moment, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
More specifically, Ripa is apparently still resentful about the entire situation and seems to have no plans to release it quickly at any time.
The situation was recently discussed by Howard Stern and Jimmy Kimmel at the SiriusXM show, where Stern himself claimed that things between Ripa and Philbin were far from good.
He even went so far as to describe the situation as a real war and added that Ripa would probably not disagree with him either.
Stern said this happened after the experienced TV presenter left Live! With Regis and Kelly : “Well, Kelly (Ripa) I don’t think Regis is nice. That’s it right. They have a war.”
Kimmel replied: “I don’t think that is true. ”
Stern further revealed:” I think it is true, and I think she would say that it is true. They do not talk or as far as I know. I thought it was a problem was where Kelly felt that Regis should have told her he was leaving the show. ”
Co-host Robin Quivers injected:” I don’t think Regis just left agreement. “Kimmel concluded by:” No, Regis did not leave on his own initiative. ”
However, there is still much speculation about Philbin’s departure from the show, with many people wondering why he chose to leave the production in the first place.
There have been rumors that he chose not to leave alone, but instead the show was forced. However, this is still the subject of speculation and so far nothing concrete has been put forward.
Nor is it the first time that such a thing is suggested, and it remains to be seen how far things will go between the two before we get any factual clarification about the situation between them.
Fans say that hopefully things won’t deteriorate too much, though. However, peace seems unlikely at the moment.
