Trae Young left Tuesday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks at the Miami Heat with an ankle injury, but a report said the injury may not be as serious.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the X-rays applied to Young’s right ankle were negative and that there is optimism that it was not a serious injury.

Young had five points in 11 minutes before leaving. The 21-year-old from Oklahoma was the No. 5 pick in last year’s draft and a player the Hawks believed in as a cornerstone – preferring Luka Doncic. He averaged 34 points per game in his first three games of the season and had a very hot start to the 2-1 Hawks.
