The Los Angeles Clippers looked lively while winning three of their first four games at the start of the season and scored 121.5 points per game under Paul George. Assuming that George does not suffer any kind of setback, he should be away for only two weeks.
Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said after Monday’s victory over the Charlotte Hornets that he expected George to miss the first 10 games of the season, and that this timeline has not changed.
Doc Rivers again hinted that Paul George was going to miss 10 games. When asked to choose a starting team; he said his goal before PG’s return was to “get through the 10 games”.

George, whom the Clippers acquired during an exchange with the Thunder of Oklahoma City this summer, was operated on both shoulders during the off season. He underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder and a rotator cuff in his right shoulder. One of the injuries was so bad that at the end of the Thunder season he could barely lift his arm. George still managed to be a finalist for both the most valuable player in the NBA and the defensive player of the year.
While the Clippers seem to be doing well in scoring, George will help them defend themselves. They played well at first, but things should go better when George joins the team.
