As everyone was waiting for the much-anticipated game Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and we’re signing up for betas of the gameplay the situation is different for Russian Play Station User in Russia

“Unfortunately, Sony Interactive Entertainment is unable to support the Modern Warfare Beta on PS4 in Russia this weekend,” said a spokesperson. “Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
Ironically, the game is available on another platform such as Microsoft Xbox and Pc then why specifically the Play Station Store. We don’t have an answer to that either
We haven’t got any official statement over it whatsoever, but there are theories surrounding around it. And the favourable portrayal of the White Helmets, a group of volunteer rescue workers in rebel-occupied areas of Syria and Turkey.
It is speculated that the game portrays extreme realism as well as uncomfortable interpretation of elements of the Russian military within the game
Retail versions for the game have been unavailable in the country ever since publisher Activision announced Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s release on Oct.25 back in May
In fact, this is not the first time that this happened in COD modern warfare 2 there’s a segment in the game where the player has no choice or control and had to participate in the mass shooting of Russian civilian. Here the player manages to infiltrate a terrorist cell and he has to help them slaughter civilians in order to provoke a war on the United States, by the Russian. He couldn’t shoot the terrorist and end this massacre
There’s a total blackout (pun intended) for Russian Play Station user and it doesn’t seem like there’s hope for them anytime soon
