Prince William, Kate Middleton meet royal baby Archie for the first time

Before Kate Middleton met Harry and Meghan's son, Archie, yesterday, she shared a sweet update on her own royal baby, Prince Louis. Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, visited Frogmore Cottage with husband Prince William after she carried out an engagement at Bletchley Park. During and event at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, Prince William talked about being excited to welcome the newest royal member into the family, saying: "Obviously thrilled, absolutely thrilled, and obviously looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down".

Alongside a picture of her daughter Ivy sitting with a matching pair of adult and child-sized shoes, Jessica wrote: 'Packing for our first mother/daughter trip and I'm screaming with excitement'.

The duke broke his paternity leave for a day visit to the Netherlands last Thursday to launch the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games 2020, taking place in The Hague.

Harry was also out and about on Tuesday, taking a tour of Oxford, where he said he can not imagine life without son Archie.

"He said he just feels part of the family and he can't imagine life without his son".

"Louis just wants to pull himself up all the time", Kate revealed. Our source says the couple is enjoying parenthood and will be receiving more visitors this week, including Harry's brother, Prince William, sister-in-law Kate Middleton and his father, Prince Charles.

Meghan has been quick to learn the ropes and has carried out hundreds of engagements in that time, including around 76 alone on her first major overseas tour in Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand - all while newly pregnant.

He is, he admitted, "totally in love with him". He then pointed at his wife and added, "and you as well".

The rest of Archie isn't included in the shot, but he is wrapped in what appears to be the same white blanket by G.H. Hurt & Son from the photo shoot last Wednesday when Baby Sussex was introduced to the world.

Even during Meghan's pregnancy, the couple - who tied the knot in May a year ago - chose not to reveal her exact due date, rather releasing a public statement when she was in labour.
