Red Bull Wingsuit Stunt Lights Up Downtown Night Sky

Per a press release about the event provided to EW, Red Bull was celebrating the third and final supermoon of 2019 with its team of skilled skydivers who jumped from a helicopter 4,000 feet over Los Angeles and "swooped into the downtown at more than 120mph".

Apparently Red Bull gives you flares with your wings.

Others shared what they saw over the downtown area. Many thought it was a UFO or meteor, but it didn't come from out of this world. Perez wanted to know if it was a meteor.

The display, which took place near the skyscape of downtown Los Angeles, was a pair of wingsuit flyers parachuting in as part of a promotional stunt. "This is Tinseltown after all".

Trump, Netanyahu to meet next week in Washington
The president will welcome Netanyahu for his third White House visit since Trump took office, the White house said Wednesday. Others, like former White House counsel Don McGahn, are referring their inquiries from the committee to the White House.

The company also posted a dramatic photo of the evening's "super worm equinox moon" with a flare of sparks and the message "14% brighter".

As Red Bull explained in a statement, the jumpers were equipped with "LED lights and sparkling pyrotechnics that lit up the night sky as the sun set and the supermoon rose". Nope, it's a skydiver for an energy drink company.

The wingsuit divers jumped out of a helicopter at 4,000 feet (1,220 meters) above the city and flew at speeds topping 120 miles per hour (193 km/h).

While L.A. may be used to seeing sparkly things in the sky thanks to the frequent launch of rockets from SpaceX, which has its headquarters in Hawthrone, the Los Angeles Police Department quickly dispelled any notion that the object was either from outer space or from Elon Musk.
