Police told the Herald that a fan was taking pictures outside the hotel, home to LIV nightclub, when McGregor allegedly took the fan's phone and smashed it around 5 a.m.

McGregor, 30, was booked and charged with strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief, police confirmed to Fox News.

The fan, who has not been named, was trying to take a photo with his phone when McGregor allegedly "slapped" it out of his hand and stomped on it several times.
