Pavard is Bayern's first signing for the 2019-2020 season. "We're glad and proud to have gained such a player for FC Bayern", said Salihamidzic as seen by Gam Yetu on the website.

Pavard joined Stuttgart from Lille in 2016, helping the side to win promotion back to the Bundesliga.

However, they have struggled this season and sit in 16th place in the Bundesliga.

The club have also been linked with Atletico defender Lucas Hernandez and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
