The Raptors have made a decision to part ways with third-year guard Kay Felder, who was recently charged with domestic violence.

"The G League is aware of the allegations against Raptors 905 guard Kahlil (Kay) Felder and has placed him on indefinite leave pending a full investigation into the matter", a league spokesperson said.

Felder allegedly choked a longtime female acquaintance following an argument during dinner, according to TMZ Sports.

The team announced it was cutting ties with the 23-year-old in a statement on Monday.

The alleged victim was able to call a family member who then called police who confirmed Felder was taken into custody and booked for assault and uttering threats.
