Denver Broncos think WR Emmanuel Sanders tore Achilles

The Broncos are lurking as a potential sleeper in the AFC playoff hunt, but Denver's offense suffered what could be an enormous blow on Wednesday afternoon as Emmanuel Sanders suffered a lower leg injury and was helped out of practice.

Sanders was on pace for 95 catches (a would-be career-high) and 1,157 receiving yards, which would have been second-most in his career. He's also run for a touchdown and thrown for a touchdown. He avoided going on IR, however, unlike offensive linemen Matt Paradis, Ronald Leary and Max Garcia and tight ends Jake Butt, Jeff Heuerman and Troy Fumagalli.

Sanders, in his ninth National Football League season and fifth with Denver, is the team's leading receiver by far.

As far as TV shows are concerned, Google selected The Walking Dead, Riverdale, The Big Bang Theory, The Flash, and PAW Patrol. The company has been testing Flutter for a long while, first announcing it back in February of this year.

Sutton is now the team's leading receiver among active players with 558 yards and three touchdowns.

The way the 2018 season has gone in terms of passing the ball for the Broncos, it would be wise of John Elway to explore bringing in a veteran receiver, or at least someone who could provide the team with a proven target to keep teams honest and not consistently load the box. The Broncos will place him on injured reserve later Wednesday.

Let's take a look at a few of them.
