Just in time, Xiaomi outs the so-called AirDots.

Wireless connectivity with the smartphone is achieved with Bluetooth 5.0; the latest Bluetooth standard supports lower power consumption, longer operating range, and is less susceptible to interference from other wireless signals.

Moreover, the headset will get charged automatically when put into the charging box and will also shut down automatically after placing inside it. Theres a touch sensitive area on its side so you can control the music player, answer calls and, yes, summon the digital assistant.

The AirPods are, without a doubt, one of the best products Apple launched in the last couple of years. If you listen with only one of the buds, the promised battery life is up to five hours. Despite their compact size, the wireless earbuds feature noise cancellation. They can be recharged three times with the built-in battery in the case, and that's where the "up to 12 hours listening" blurb during travels comes from.

Xiaomi has claimed that by equipping these new earphones with Bluetooth 5.0, the single ear disconnections problem with wireless headsets has been solved to a greater extent.
