Microsoft announced the big new changes with this release via its Windows blog, with numerous new productivity-focused features discussed.

As of 2pm PST today, this update is now available to the public. As you may remember, this didn't go too well with Windows 10 version 1803 (Redstone 4), which was finalized, and then pulled, updated, and reset, and then re-released. Unlike the last few updates that were rolled out in multiple phases, it appeared that Version 1809 was being released to everyone. This time, however, it's actually got a bunch of neat gaming goodies in store, especially if you're one of the three people who have already bought one of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2080 or RTX 2080Ti graphics cards since they came out a couple of weeks ago. Also, you will be able to mirror your Android phone to your PC desktop without any wire or installing any third-party app.
