‘Shameless’ Gets Expanded Season 9 Order, Showtime Sets Fall Premiere Dates

Showtime is super-sizing the long-running comedy series for its next round to 14 episodes, two more than the show's usual 12.

Shameless has received an expanded season nine order, and the new season will air in two parts.

Season 9 of the critically-acclaimed series will air in two parts, with part one launching this fall on September 9 and part two debuting on January 20, 2019. Frank (William H. Macy) has found money in campaigning and is offering advice to the downtrodden men of the South Side, while Fiona (Emmy Rossum) is taking a risky gamble to put her business on the map. Elsewhere, Lip (Jeremy Allen White) is trying to take care of Eddie's niece Xan (Amirah Johnson), and Ian (Cameron Monaghan) is still dealing with the fallout of being Gay Jesus.

Batman won't appear in The CW's Arrowverse, but Batwoman definitely will

Mobile Introduces New "Essentials" Plan, Starting at $60
If not, and you don't ever go to Canada or Mexico, then I'm not sure why you wouldn't downgrade to this new Essentials plan. Costs aside, it's a bad look for T-Mobile to be adding a new "unlimited" option that doesn't include taxes and fees.

Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey and Richard Flood, the latter upped to regular for Season 9, co-star in the series, which has also added Dan Lauria and Ashley Romans as recurring for the new season. Debbie (Emma Kenney) fights for equal pay and combats harassment; and her efforts lead her to an unexpected realization.

Created by Paul Abbott, the series is now in production in Los Angeles on season 9, which will pick up after the events of season 8, which to fans delight did not feature a cliffhanger.

"I don't know if we consciously did that, to be honest with you". "So again, I don't think we were necessarily like, 'Oh, let's not do a big giant thing.' The way we did it just sort of all felt organic". The season will then resume for seven more installments on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019. Seasons 1-8 of the series are now available for streaming on Netflix.
