NASCAR CEO and Chairman Brian Z. France was arrested Sunday night while allegedly driving under the influence and in possession of oxycodone in NY.

Officers in the high-priced Hamptons hamlet say France blew through a stop sign in his 2017 Lexus at 7:30, prompting a traffic stop.

During the stop, France was reportedly intoxicated and failed a field sobriety test.

Jim France is the son of NASCAR founder Bill France Sr. and the uncle to Brian France. Brian began his tenure as CEO in 2003. After officers pulled him over, they suspected he was drunk, police said.
