Manchester United have £66m Willian bid accepted by Chelsea

Manchester United could have finally succeeded in their pursuit of Willian, with Chelsea accepting a €75 million bid for the Brazilian worldwide.

The Chelsea fans also had their say regarding the possible transfer of the 29-year-old and the bid made by United.

Both United and Barcelona have been heavily linked with an approach for the Brazil global throughout the summer, but it has previously been suggested that Chelsea would only consider bids in the region of £70m.

Willian was a shining light in Chelsea's miserable 2017-18 season and then following it up by being one of Brazil's better players at the 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation.

Chelsea , Tottenham and Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for the Frenchman but no bids have been lodged as of yet. Last summer, United appeared to be close to agreeing a deal for Perisic who was reportedly intent on moving to Old Trafford.

The Full Manchester United Vs AC Milan Penalty Shootout
Taking his second penalty, United's Ander Herrera made no mistake and converted it successfully. The two teams had to take 13 penalties each to finally decide the victor between the two.

A new attacker is on the agenda as doubts continue over the future of Anthony Martial and Willian has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer to replace the wantaway French worldwide.

New Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is said to be keen on keeping Willian at the club for the upcoming though, which has damaged United's chances of a deal following the player's fallout with ex-boss Antonio Conte. The interest from the Red Devils does make some sense as well, even though Willian will only likely be a short-term solution in attack.

Willian might be close to 30 but he still is quality and works his socks off for the team.

United need to invest in the side as we look to win the Premier League title for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson left and this could be the season for some surprises to take place.
