F-150 Limited gains Raptor 3.5L EcoBoost engine

Truck buyers who looked at the Raptor and wanted something that was fancier, but still had all that torque and horsepower have a new option.

Ford is swapping the truck's 375 horsepower twin-turbo V6 for the 450 hp version from the high-performance F-150 Raptor, which is now the most powerful in the light-duty pickup class.

With 510 lb-ft of torque and a 10-speed automatic to go with it, the luxed-up pickup promises to be a hauler (in more ways than one, ) but full specifications have not yet been revealed.

Ford is stuffing the F-150 Raptor's high-output engine into the F-150 Limited, giving the classy pickup truck some rabid power.

Complementing the upgraded performance, the Limited will feature a new dual exhaust system integrated into new rear bumper cutouts. While the truck is built to be storing and capable of working all day when needed.
