Kylie Jenner is nearly one in a billion!

On Wednesday, the sister of Kim Kardashian West made the cover of Forbes' America's Women Billionaires, but she's not just making history as a woman - with another year of growth, she could be the youngest self-made billionaire ever.

The 20-year-old landed on the 27th spot on the list thanks to her highly successful Kylie Cosmetics, most notably Jenner's popular Lip Kits. Kylie - who owns 100% of the company, now worth almost $800 billion - credits social media for helping her build such a massive following of customers. Jenner owns 100 per cent of it.

She is on track to become a billionaire earlier than Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, who achieved that status at age 23. Not to mention the millions she's earned from her many endorsement deals, TV appearances and retail goods from the Kendall + Kylie Clothing brand she shares with sister Kendall Jenner. Now worth $900 million (knocking big sis Kim Kardashian off the top slot with an estimated $350 million), she is on track to hit the billion-dollar mark within the next year.

Jenner was quoted by Forbes as saying that she owed much of her success to her presence on social media saying: "I have such easy access to my fans and my customers".

Jenner's net worth now far exceeds that of anyone else in her family, according to Forbes' calculations. It called her business' overhead costs "minuscule".

"Before I even refreshed the page, everything was sold out", Jenner recalled.

As it was previously reported, Forbes chose Ms. Kylie Jenner to grace their latest issue, and not everyone was impressed with their choice, including, who explicitly stated the definition of "self-made" in their tweet. "I've always loved makeup and worked really hard to bring the first lip kit to market".

Kylie Cosmetics is dealing with slowing growth - Forbes reports that revenue grew just 7% previous year, with lip-kit revenue dropping an estimated 35%.

"Maybe one day [I'll] pass this on to Stormi", she exclaims.

That's when the makeup-obsessed teen made a decision to launch her own company.
