Origin Access Premier service lets subscribers play full PC games before release

EA's CEO, Andrew Wilson, said Origin Access Premier will be taking things one step further, and will include all of EA's new PC games, and many from several big-name publishers.

We'll have more on the Origin Access Premier subscription program, including pricing, as it's made available.

It's going to offer "full access" to new EA games first, and the upcoming launches of Madden NFL 19, Federation Internationale de Football Association 19, Battlefield V and Anthem were all mentioned. Additionally, a Premier membership grants unlimited access to The Sims 4.

The other major feature unique to Access Premier is being able to stream games instead of needing to download them. In the press release, they announced that the service will be $14.99 per month, or $99.99 per year. Origin Access Premier reminds us of Xbox Game Pass but for today, we didn't get any information whether this EA's plans will someday come to consoles as well.

Aside from game updates, EA also announced its new all-in-one subscription service. Along with a 10% discount on Origin purchases.
