Mary Joe Eustace shuns everything about making peace with ex-husband Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling.
The 57-year-old stopped by the McDermott podcast Daddy Issues to discuss how she managed to reconcile with her ex and his wife. Since McDermott cheated and left Eustace to spell, the road to peace wasn’t easy. However, it became necessary because of Jack, the 21-year-old son she shares with McDermott.
“We had not spoken to each other for the past three years. We would start this routine. She would text me and or I would text her and and we would go back and forth just to be mean to each other. And then I finally go, OK, I’ve had enough, I’m blocking you, McDermott started the frank conversation.
“He blocked me all the time. Sometimes he thought he was blocking me and he hadn’t, and sometimes he was. His blocking skills were not 100 percent, sometimes I got through, “she shot back.
The relationship reached a turning point last week because of their son Jack. His birthday turned out to be the celebration McDermott needed for his to unblock the ex, as well as Eustace to be nice with Spelling.
“I made the decision before we went to dinner that whatever happened in the past, we went ahead and there was no hostility. Really just wanted to go on Dean and Jack are famous with each other, they get along very well with each other that I love Tori and I have dealt with each other on another issue, and she has been fantastic and understanding and great “Eustace said.
It turns out that Spelling and the former wife of McDermott have more in common than their taste in men. Eustace revealed that they have similar personalities and now treat each other famously. She even shared a photo with the star BH90210 on social media to document the special occasion and their new friendship.
