Cameras recently saw Friends star Matthew Perry on a date in Los Angeles with a mysterious woman and the 50-year-old actor did not look well. Dressed in a white t-shirt covered with a blue checkered flannel, black pants and dark Converse shoes – complete with messy hair and a 5-hour shadow – the actor was spotted outside Dan Tana’s Italian restaurant in West Hollywood and insiders say that he really got it all out used to be.
An insider told In Touch Weekly that Perry was confused while he was smiling, waving and waving and the girl who was with Perry seemed “to him comfort. ”
“She felt sorry for him. It didn’t seem like a girlfriend situation at all. She absolutely comforted him, rubbed his arm, tried to talk to him about coming home, resting. He was very messy, sloppy. He looked like a homeless man, “said the eyewitness.
The source further said that the paparazzi watched Perry’s movement, and his female companion treated him kindly – as if she “knew he was a mess.”
“He smoked; he [didn’t seem] sober. He did not drive. The girl has a car in front of him, I think it was an Uber, & said the insider.” Matthew felt no pain, [but] he didn’t look good at all, he didn’t seem to care if anyone saw him. It was kind of sad. ”

During his career – which lasted more than three decades – Perry was linked to numerous women, including Julia Roberts, Yasmine Bleeth, and Rachel Dunn. From 2006 to 2012, he dated actress Lizzy Caplan with Mean Girls but since then Perry has avoided the spotlight.
Perry has had problems with drug and alcohol abuse for years. He went into rehab for the first time when Friends was still in the air in 1997, and then returned in 2001. The actor claims that he was never drunk or high when he was working, but he was “Painful, painful hangover” while filming the majority of episodes.
Perry rehabilitated for the third time in 2011, and at the time he tweeted that he was leaving for a month to focus on sobriety and continue his life in recovery.

By 2013, Perry seemed to be healthy and doing well, and he even opened The Perry House, a sober house that helped other addicts. He also played in the CBS reboot of The Odd Couple . However, in 2016 he closed the austere house and around the same time, fans saw him outside a London restaurant, and he seemed to be drunk and talking to himself. By 2017, CBS had canceled The Odd Couple .
Earlier this year, hotel staff caught him drinking while staying in a hotel in New York City. A source claims that Perry ordered spirits and stayed in private VIP areas.
“Almost nobody recognizes him because he is such a mess compared to what people remember. He remained for himself and would hardly leave his room until dark except for a cigarette or a hospital appointment, “said the insider.
Matthew Perry has not talked openly about his austerity in years and has not commented on a possible relapse.
