002 Van Lathan disputed Kanye West claim that slavery was only a “choice.” In four parts of the video, which became available on a Twitter feed, it shows that Van Lathan puts his hands around Babcock and puts his arms on his shoulders while he speaks in his voice ear.
In another video, Babcock turns to look at Lathan, and in a different context other employees look at TMZ offices to see what all the fuss is about. In terms of how this all went down, Lathan would have finished shooting and he came out behind Babcook and grabbed him.
Allegedly they had mentioned the pictures of Ellen DeGeneres hanging around George W. Bush during a football match. According to page six, Babcock and Van Lathan talked to each other, and when Lathan said he was going to talk, Babcock told him that he would not allow Van Lathan to decide when he was going to speak or not.
As noted above, Van Lathan received much attention when he last year Kanye called out when West was on the show talking about his support for Donald Trump, as well as the need for individuals to have their own critical thinking skills.
