AJ Green has not practiced since he's suffered an ankle injury during the summer that required surgery, but the star catcher was finally able to return to the field Thursday.
Green was spotted to practice with a helmet and pads, although Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com said that he should only be a "very limited" participant.
It looks like A.J. Green will be training for a very limited first job today since July 27th. He has a helmet and protections

Green will not play against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, but that means he's progressing. He could return as early as the 7th week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. At the very least, it would now be surprising that Green is waiting for the end of week 9 of Cincinnati.
While the Bengals start at 0-5 and are clearly not heading to the playoffs, the big story surrounding Green will be whether he auditions for a potential exchange or not. The deadline for trading in the NFL is October 29 and it has been said that Green is in motion. The 31-year-old told Hobson this week that he had heard of no exchange, but that he was "ready for anything".
