It has been reportedly confirmed that neighbour of Botham Jean named Joshua Brown – who was a key witness in the murder trial of Dallas police officer Amber Guyger was shot to death this Friday.
The local police informed that – Brown who lived across the hall from the apartment where Jean lived and was at home the night Guyger fatally shot Jean after walking into the wrong apartment – was shot outside of an apartment complex in Dallas.
It come into acknowledgement after various authorities informed that some officers were sent to the Atera Apartments late Friday after they were informed about a shooting incident that had occured. Shortly after the officers arrived, Brown was found outside of the Apartment with multiple gunshot wounds.
The police is still investigating and haven’t come up with a complete suspect descriptions, but many witnesses revealed that they observed a white sedan fleeing scene shortly after gunshots were heard.
Lee Meritt who is an attourney representing Jean’s family shared a footage of Brown’s emotional testimony at the time of murder trial, this is what resulted in Guyger’s ten-year sentence this week, last month.
In various conversation, Brown had testified that he had met Jean on September 6, 2019 – the same day he was shot. Before the gunshots were heard, Brown recollects hearing people meeting off by “surprise”.
A Facebook post by Meritt reveals that the medical examination indicates that Joshua was shot in the mouth and the chest. He was ambushed at his apartment and various reports show that he was shot by a short-range.
Brown’s mother is completely in for the case with the attorney Meritt, Joshua was a decent man, he didn’t have any enemies, he worked and earned his daily bread. He didn’t deserve this.
