Jeremy Kyle show pulled from screens indefinitely after death of guest

ITV will be carrying out an investigation into the episode of the long-running chat show, which will now not be broadcast.

Actress Kathy Burke tweeted: "Hope it's the end of that vile, Kyle show".

This morning's episode of the confrontational talk show did not air, and was replaced with Dickinson's Real Deal, as the episode was due to feature a guest who passed away since it was filmed.

The participant died a week after appearing on the show, ITV said, but no cause of death was confirmed.

"ITV will not screen the episode in which they featured", they added.

The Jeremy Kyle Show has been suspended after a guest died shortly after filming.
