JetBlue pilots accused of sexually assaulting 2 female crew members, lawsuit says

"The beer was laced with a drug, and after that point, the rest of the night became a blur for Doe #1, Doe #2 and the other crew member", according to the lawsuit.

Two JetBlue flight crew staffers are suing the airline and two male pilots for allegedly drugging and raping them - and another female colleague - during a layover in Puerto Rico a year ago, in a "fantasy" sexual assault that gave one of the victims an STD.

Earlier this week, Jane Doe #1 of Riverton, Utah and Jane Doe #2 of Fort Worth, Texas filed suit in federal court in NY.

According to HuffPo, the suit alleges that pilots, Eric Johnson and Dan Watson approached the two crew members and another woman, who worked for the airline, while the ladies were relaxing and drinking on a beach on May 9th.

It was then that Johnson is alleged to have handed an open beer from his lunch box to Jane Doe 1 who then passed the beverage to the other two women.

"Plaintiff was unable to react to the situation, but was simply aware that it was happening", the suit said.

Jane Doe 1 says that Johnson intentionally gave her HPV.

In the suit, one of the women claims that she remembered waking up in a hazy state as Johnson was raping her.

Around the same time, Jane Doe #1 "developed a tremendous fear that she may have been exposed to an STD" during the alleged rape, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit states that Watson did not rape the woman because her vomiting was a "turn-off".

Johnson apparently thanked the women for making his fantasy come true, according to the lawsuit.

"JetBlue takes allegations of violent or inappropriate behavior very seriously and investigates such claims thoroughly", the airline said in a statement.

It is also alleged that he left the scene "after having been scratched". The sleepiness was something Plaintiff never felt in her life. Jane Doe #2 was "extremely nauseous, tired, and in a weird out of body fog".

Upon returning home to Utah, the woman immediately went to the hospital and reported being drugged and sexually assaulted. HPV is considered one of the most common sexually transmitted infections in the USA, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Now, each of the three plaintiffs is seeking at least $75,000 in damages through the suit, which names the JetBlue corporation and the pilots individually.

They said they reported the incident to JetBlue but that no action was taken against the pilots, according to the Post story . "We look forward to getting justice", announced Attorney Abraham Z. Melamed, of Derek Smith Law Group, in an interview with Fox News. Though the pilot also told officials about the incident, the captain still continued working for the airline. This proved a "turnoff" for the 2 pilots, the suit says. "I am hopeful that the courage of my clients will bring about some real change and inspire others who have been silenced to come forward", Melamed said on March 21.
