Real Madrid Announce Eder Militao As Zinedine Zidane's

Manchester United lose out to Real Madrid in the race to sign Porto centre-back Eder Militao, according to a report. This is what the statement from Los Blancos said: "Real Madrid C.F. and FC Porto have agreed the transfer of Éder Militão and the player will sign on a six-year contract running until the 30th of June 2025".

The Porto defender has become the first signing of Madrid's new project under Zinedine Zidane. He has been named the best defender in the league for the last five months in a row.

The Brazil global has played 34 times for UEFA Champions League quarter-finalists this season, scoring three goals and registering two assists across all competitions.

Interestingly, the centre-half, who also doubles as a right-back, featured 20 times for Porto in the Portuguese topflight this campaign, netting two goals along with two assists.
