Seahawks add Pro Bowl kicker Jason Myers on 4-year deal

Jason Myers, who was selected to the Pro Bowl last season, intends to sign with the Seattle Seahawks, according to multiple reports.

In other Jets news, the team is not expected to re-sign Pro Bowl kick returner Andre Roberts, the Daily News' Manish Mehta reported.

The biggest domino just fell Wednesday morning, when free safety Earl Thomas agreed to terms on a four-year deal for $55 million with the Baltimore Ravens.

Myers was with the Seahawks last offseason, joining the team on a reserve/future deal after being cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars in October 2017.

Pound rockets as parliament rejects a no-deal Brexit
If lawmakers give leaving the European Union without an agreement a thumbs down, they have one choice left: seeking more time. But MPs rejected it in January by a massive 432 votes to 202, with many of May's Conservatives rebelling against her.

The 27-year-old hit 91.7 percent of his field goals with the Jets in 2018, which ranked seventh overall in the National Football League and was the best for any AFC kicker who played the entire season.

It doesn't look like Sebastian Janikowski will be returning to Seattle in 2019. All told, he made 33-of-36 field goals (91.7 percent) for the season. Although Janikowski is known for his ability to hit long kicks, Myers can also hit those.

The Seahawks may have finally found a long-term answer after three years of questions at the kicking position.

Myers, who turns 28 on May 12, is a native of Chula Vista, Calf., and attended Marist College, will now get more than four times that to return to the Seahawks. But he was also injured twice in the final month of the season and had a couple of key misses of his own while hitting 22 of 27 for the season. Kendricks is facing a sentencing hearing in April after pleading guilty to insider trading a year ago, and Janikowski is 41 and was injured attempting a long field goal in Seattle's playoff loss to the Cowboys.
