Reports of the outage began to spike around 9 a.m. PST and continued through the morning hours, while Facebook addressed the issues via Twitter Wednesday, saying, "We're aware that some people are now having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps".

The outage appears to be scattered, however, and not as widespread as the November 2018 outage that knocked the site down for almost an hour.
