Nintendo is about to release Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit and users can expect it to come out in April. The kit allows you to build VR goggles that use the Switch to create a VR experience that can then be paired with the other creations in the kit to play small, simple games.

Back in February, there were some rumors flying around, suggesting that Nintendo should make an announcement related to VR. The Starter Kit costs less and doesn't contain as many projects, but can be later augmented with expansion kits until you have all the available projects. Those who purchase the starter set will be able to buy other expansion sets as well, and each one costs $19.99. Labo VR headsets are the latest to join the line in a couple of different sets: A US$40 Starter Set + Blaster with two US$20 add-ons, or the complete set for US$80. The DIY device is designed, instead, to play experiences from the Toy-Con projects found with the Labo: the Toy-Con Blaster, Toy-Con Camera, Toy-Con Bird, Toy-Con Wind Pedal, Toy-Con Elephant, as well as the Toy-Con VR Goggles themselves.

The expansion sets will only be available for purchase through Nintendo and will not be sold in stores.
