The Super Sonic Zone has acquired images that they claim come from a (probably leaked) film style guide.

The Sonic the Hedgehog movie poster was revealed a while back and left fans shocked, confused, and, in some cases, outraged.

We got a glimpse of the upcoming live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie last December and some new designs have appeared online to give us a first possible look at Sonic in his entirety.

Sonic's co-creator Yuji Naka even tweeted his slight disappointment, saying the design needs "more balance".

But HCI's portfolio page now has a new entry dated March 2019 all about Sonic, with the lights turned on and his entire body visible, and it sure looks like the same design in the poster, from the "jacked, humanoid legs" to the "strangely delicate fingers".

Update: The Super Sonic Zone now reports that these images come from Hollywood marketing firm Hamagami Carroll. Luckily for us, Polygon had already grabbed the images before they disappeared. Sonic looks... interesting, to say the least.

I feel that it is important to look at the whole body visual of Sonic and head body and stomach. The guy on the left. he seems like someone who would star in Tales From the Crypt episode about a kid who plays video games so much he becomes trapped in one forever.

Sonic the Hedgehog is scheduled for release on 8 November and will see Parks & Rec's Ben Schwartz voice the blue speedster, while Jim Carrey voices his nemesis, the evil Dr. Robotnik.
