Ocasio-Cortez slams 'wack' Times Square billboard criticizing her

Job Creators Network, a nonpartisan organization whose mission is to empower small business leaders in America, announced Wednesday its plans for a Times Square billboard reading "THANKS FOR NOTHING AOC".

The billboard, however, is a direct response to Ocasio-Cortez's role in scrapping plans to open a new Amazon headquarters in the heart of New York City.

Asserting that funding for the billboard came from the influential Mercer family, Ocasio-Cortez added that the fact that the billboard is in Times Square "tells you this isn't for/by NYers".

After Fox News reached out to the Job Creators Network for comment on Ocasio-Cortez's tweets, the Wikipedia page was subsequently edited again and it now includes the line that was in the NY congresswoman's tweet: "It is funded mainly by corporate executives and conservative foundations including the Mercer Family Foundation". The billboard, which provides a link to the website ThanksAOC.com, is expected to remain in the busy tourist spot for one week.

Any presidential candidate who wants to be taken seriously on climate and earn the support of young people needs to support Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and Sen.
