Five Juveniles, Ages 12-16, Arrested In Murder Of Nashville Musician

Police in Nashville, Tennessee have arrested five children ranging from 12 to 16 years old - including two girls - for allegedly murdering country music singer Kyle Yorlets.

Diamond Lewis, 15, and Decorrius Wright, 16, as well as a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy are all charged in connection with Kyle Yorlets death.

Prosecutors plan to charge them as adults, the Nashville Tennessean reported.

Police say after the Belmont University student and member of the band Carverton was shot, he made it back inside his house where he was found by his roommate around 3 p.m.

Yorlets was a graduate of Belmont University who worked as a bartender at a Nashville restaurant and sang in the pop-rock band Carverton.

Kyle Yorlets was shot outside his home during a robbery, police say.

"A loaded nine-millimeter pistol, which had been reported stolen, was recovered from them".

He still had a faint pulse, according to the police spokesperson, and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Police said they believe Yorlets was shot outside his Nashville, Tennessee home after he refused to hand over his auto keys to the suspects, who took his wallet, according to News Channel 5.

"Outside of this, please send prayer and good thoughts towards the Yorlets family, his girlfriend, his friends and extended work families". It is an autobiographical song by Yorlets, Ferguson said, who started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for Yorlets's family.
