Chargers mourn death of defensive tackle Brandon Mebane's infant daughter

Defensive tackle and captain Brandon Mebane's daughter passed away last week, which he announced to the media on Wednesday.

Mebane missed four regular-season games to care for Makenna, who was born with trisomy 13 - a very rare condition in which an individual has an extra chromosome 13.

Somber news for the Los Angeles Chargers moving into an AFC Divisional Playoff matchup with the New England Patriots.

"No matter where I am, I still think about her", Mebane said of Makenna.
