Police Issue Warrant for Cristiano Ronaldo's DNA in Rape Case

In a report yesterday, we explained how worldwide soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was accused of being a "psychopath" and "emotionally abusive" to his ex-girlfriend, model/Celebrity Big Brother star Jasmine Lennard.

The 35-year-old American claims Ronaldo anally raped her while the two were at a Las Vegas hotel room almost a decade ago.

Ronaldo firmly denies the claims and is offering police full cooperation, including providing a DNA sample, U.S. news outlet TMZ Sports reports, citing sources close to the player. He is expected to ship the sample back to Las Vegas.

The 33-year-old has now made it clear that she is ready to support Kathryn Mayorga and his lawyers claiming that she will reveal what will shock many people about Ronaldo.

"Mr. Ronaldo has always maintained, as he does today, that what occurred in 2009 in Las Vegas was consensual in nature", Ronaldo's lawyer Peter Christiansen wrote in a statement in October.

The police case was closed in 2009 when the alleged victim, Kathryn Mayorga, declined to name her alleged assailant.

He is then alleged to have offered her clothes to change into and pointed her towards the bathroom.

"Upon leaving the bathroom, Ronaldo pulled the plaintiff into a bedroom and on to a bed and attempted to engage in sexual intercourse", the documents add. "Plaintiff refused. and covered herself in an attempt to prevent sexual penetration".

Nike, which has had a contract with Ronaldo since 2003, said at the time it was "deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations" and would "continue to closely monitor the situation". Lennard has since been in contact with Mayorga's team and will be looking to share her evidence with them. She says she received a $375,000 settlement from Ronaldo that required her to sign a non-disclosure agreement, forbidding her from talking about the incident.
