Derek Fisher Has Landed A New Head Coaching Job

Fisher previously coached the NBA's New York Knicks.

WNBA outfit the Sparks made the announcement on Wednesday as ex-Los Angeles Lakers guard Fisher, 44, prepares to return to coaching.

The Los Angeles Sparks has hired Derek Fisher as the team's new head coach.

Fisher was a member of five National Basketball Association championship teams with the Lakers during an 18-season National Basketball Association playing career that also included stints with four other teams.

He also won five NBA Championship, all with the Lakers.
