Markelle Fultz Out Indefinitely With Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz is expected to miss the next 3-6 weeks after being diagnosed with a nerve condition in his right shoulder, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

On the advice of Brothers, Fultz visited with approximately 10 specialists over the past week or so, consultations that resulted in their bringing this diagnosis back to the organization.

In a follow-up tweet, Wojnarowski mentioned that the syndrome effecting Fultz is treatable with physical therapy.

Fultz has lost the ability to carry out and follow through on long jump shots, and there's been internal and external debate about how much of this perplexing circumstance is physical vs. mental.

Fultz's inability to shoot consistently, and various shooting forms, has been one of the biggest mysteries in Philadelphia sports history.

Fultz was the No. 1 pick of the 2017 draft.

That being said, the mysterious case of Fultz and his inability to shoot has taken many different turns over the past year, so chances are this diagnosis is far from the end of the drama surrounding what is quickly becoming one of the biggest busts of all time.
