Unconventional move after unconventional move throughout 2017 kept basketball fans on their toes while drawing criticism from others.

It was a controversial move for LaVar Ball to ship his kids over to Lithuania to play professional ball earlier this year. and with Melo going back to high school, that experiment is officially over.

LaMelo Ball is returning to high school and older brother LiAngelo Ball intends to make himself available in the G-League player pool with expectations of playing in the NBA's minor league this season. Ball will compete with and against his peers upon his return to high school and likely will be among the most heavily recruited prospects in the nation.
