Klopp Facing Injury Headache After Liverpool Star Limps Off On International Duty

Naby Keita suffers a suspected thigh injury on worldwide duty with Guinea and is now considered a doubt for Liverpool's trip to Huddersfield town.

The player joined the Reds from RB Leipzig over the summer and has shown shades of the quality that Liverpool forked out so heavily for, but, so far, he has not established himself as a regular starter.

With Premier League action set to resume this weekend, it could be worrying for Liverpool, who have had a growing injury list since the beginning of the worldwide break.

He was the third Anfield star to be injured on Africa Cup of Nations duty after attackers Mohamed Salah (strained thigh muscle) and Sadio Mane (broken thumb) since last Friday.

Although he aggravated the problem in the win over Southampton the following week, he has since played against Chelsea, Napoli and Manchester City as well as in the Germany game.

Van Dijk is expected to be fit to play according to his national team manager Ronald Koeman, while Salah also returned to Liverpool for treatment over the past few days and his injury isn't deemed to be too serious.
