WWE Wrestlers Reportedly Don't Want To Travel To Work Crown Jewel

In a almost 20-minute segment on Sunday's Last Week Tonight (watch it above), Oliver detailed the cozy and lucrative relationship between World Wresting Entertainment and Saudi Arabia, specifically Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (or MBS, as he's often called).

Khashoggi, a journalist who has been critical of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, disappeared after entering the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on October 2. Turkish media reported that the government has audio and video footage confirming that Khashoggi was murdered in the consulate. The only issue is, they landed at around 3 AM on the day in question, left on the same day, and traveled with a bone saw.

The information for the controversial event now lists the event taking place in Saudi Arabia. He used a video of John Cena thanking the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which has been using U.S. sold weapons to wage unethical wars, as proof.

Jayasuriya, who was Sri Lanka captain from 1999-2003, amassed 6973 runs at an average of just over 40 in tests. He has also been a member of Parliament and a deputy minister in the national government.

WWE Crown Jewel remains a polemical topic, and with the Jamal Khashoggi case continuing to have a profound global impact, the criticism and pressure thrown at Vince McMahon's business in Saudi Arabia is only getting louder.

"Trump's intense bromance with MBS is bad news because when you set no boundaries on an oppressive regime, they are always going to ask themselves, 'How much can we get away with here?'" Oliver said.
