Palestinian gunman kills two Israelis in occupied West Bank, army says

A Palestinian attacker opened fire inside a West Bank industrial zone Sunday morning where Israelis and Palestinians work together, killing two Israelis and seriously wounding a third, the military said.

Israel's national ambulance service said a man and a woman were wounded critically in the attack in the Barkan industrial area, where thousands of Palestinians work in Israeli-owned businesses.

The woman, 54, was taken to hospital, where her condition was stabilised.

The source said PA security officials believe Na'alwa would be more willing to surrender to Palestinian forces thinking they would be less eager to turn him over to Israel or out of fear that he would be killed during Israeli attempts to apprehend him.

The Palestinian used a homemade gun in the attack, known locally as a Carlo, according to Conricus.

It said security forces "arrested" an unspecified number of people "suspected of aiding the terrorist" while a manhunt for the gunman was still underway.

Lil Wayne concert ends in chaos following shooting scare
In a press statement released by the police department, they confirm there's no evidence that gunfire erupted. But last night, Wayne's set ended early when some bedlam broke out in the crowd.

Palestinian militant groups praised the attack, calling it revenge for Israeli "crimes" towards the Palestinians.

But other workers in the industrial zone suggested the attack was carried out by a disgruntled employee and was not politically motivated.

Naalwa was employed at the same plant in the northern West Bank site as his two victims - Kim Levengrond Yehezkel, 28, and Ziv Hagbi, 34.

Security footage shows the shooter fleeing, still armed with a rifle.

The Palestinian entered one of the offices in Barkan, which is part of the illegal Israeli settlement of Ariel, one of the largest settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory, and shot at three Israeli settlers from a very short distance.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the attack and vowed deal with the "reprehensible murderer" to "the fullest extent of the law".
