Harvard Law School student leaders did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday.

There's seems to be a bit of a question as to whether the decision was purely Kavanaugh's, or that the university buckled to pressure from Harvard students and alumni.

The judge has been teaching a course on the modern Supreme Court, which typically starts in January, since 2009.

He had taught at Harvard Law since 2008, according to Harvard Law Today.

While the first ethics complaint focuses on the transparency issues about Kavanaugh's service in the George W. Bush administration, the second complaint picked up by Buzzfeed accuses him of "engaging in a public and partisan campaign of lies to cover-up and hide sexual misconduct and crimes he committed in the past".
