Is Herberger's coming Back?

It was announced in April that the Bon-Ton Stores, which operate 260 department stores in the USA, including Herberger's and Younker, would go out of business after two liquidation firms became the highest bidders at an auction for the bankrupt company's assets.

As a result, Minnesota lost 20 department stores - both Herberger's and Younkers - some of which had served as major draws for business in communities outside of the Twin Cities metro area.

Many of the Bon-Ton chains had roots in the Midwest. While it will be centered around its website, there are also plans to reopen physical locations in Illinois, Colorado, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. "Younkers is coming back!"

Trump jokes Sarah Huckabee Sanders having "a nervous breakdown"
The White House eventually returned the flag to half-staff under pressure from veterans groups and even some of its own staffers. Huckabee Sanders must be "having a nervous breakdown" over his response, Trump joked. "I have a very strong opinion, all right".

Friday, the company message is "We've got great news".

Bon-Ton Stores Inc., the company that owns Herberger's, declared bankruptcy in February and shut its doors Wednesday. The site reads "Stay tuned for updates over the coming weeks". Two months later, it was purchased by a group of its creditors and liquidators at an auction, and the company shuttered its stores just this week.
