Nun's incredible first pitch before White Sox game

When Loyola-Chicago made an improbable run in last spring's NCAA Tournament, their spark happened to be 98-year-old Sister Jean Dolores-Schmidt. Sister Jean's time in the limelight has come and gone, however, and no it's time for the emergence of a new, equally awesome Chicago nun: Sister Mary Jo Sobieck.

She showed off an arm-bounce move before she fired the ball straight over the plate.

White Sox manager Rick Renteria said she was "pretty good" and "threw a bullet".

"She wanted to warm up". That's quite apparent given her ability to spin a ball for a strike from over 60 feet away, something that most Americans couldn't dream of doing, let alone in front of thousands of fans. "She threw a flawless pitch".

"I'm like, 'Wait a minute.' He threw it back to her and she fielded it barehanded".

We're not sure how she was selected for first pitch duty, but we know for a fact she was well prepared.

Sister Mary Jo Sobieck of Marian Catholic high school captivated America when she threw out the first pitch of the Chicago White Sox game on Saturday.
