Rare triple play at Angels - Rangers game Thursday

During the Rangers' 8-6 victory over the Los Angeles Angels in Texas, the hometown team was able to turn a triple play with the bases loaded thanks to a heads-up play by third baseman Jurickson Profar.

Building off the excitement of that insane play, the Rangers came from behind to beat the Angels 8-6. He then tagged the Angel's runner on third, Taylor Ward: Out No. 2.

It's the first triple play in the majors without the batter being out since 1912.

The Rangers hadn't turned a triple play in more than nine years, dating to May 20, 2009, at Detroit.

We have no idea what's going on ... but it's a triple play!
