Traore joins Wolves on five-year deal

Adama Traore has completed his move to Wolves.

The 22-year-old shone for Boro last season, scoring five goals and laying on 12 assists as the club reached the Championship play-off semi-finals.

He missed Boro's opening day draw with Millwall with a dislocated shoulder, however the injury isn't expected to sideline him for long.

He suffered relegation again during his first campaign with Middlesbrough in 2016-17 but was one of the Championship's most unsafe attackers as Tony Pulis' team finished fifth, only to be knocked out in the play-offs by Villa.

Traore moved to the Riverside from Aston Villa two years ago. His club Besiktas are keen to sell and although Wolves have looked at the player there is no interest in signing him.

The Old Gold return to the top-flight after a six-year absence and were the best team in what Pep Guardiola labelled the "hardest second division in the world".

With the likes of Rui Patricio, Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez already on board, we'll certainly be keeping an interested eye on developments at Molineux this season. After spending the 2016/17 on loan at PSV Eindhoven, he made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League champions last term, when he was deployed mostly as an auxiliary left-back.
