To thank the gamers and everyone who purchased these systems, Sony has announced a very special PlayStation 4: the 500 Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro, which will be available on August 24, 2018.

Customers will be able to buy the new limited edition PS4 Pro on August 24, starting at $499.99. And a few "extra special" units will have serial numbers that commemorate important events in the history of PlayStation.

Sony is only producing 50,000 of these limited edition consoles for distribution worldwide. These are $65/€64. There will also be a translucent dark blue/copper wireless headset for $100/€90.

However, if you already own a PS4 Pro and you just want the controller, you're in luck. Also included in the special translucent packaging will be a PlayStation Camera and vertical stand for the console.
