New Apple iPhone code names leaked - and there’s 4 of them

While the idea of a dual-SIM iPhone made a lot of us happy, a new report suggests the feature to be limited to one of the two models, that to only in one market.

While we aren't certain what Apple plans to name the 6.1-inch LCD model, some publications have now started calling it the "iPhone 9". It is believed that due to the near-bezel-free design, there has been a delay in production for the new devices.

Apple had a good Q3 in 2018 earning US$11.5 billion in profits. "However suspected issues with LED backlight leakage have caused a 1 month delay in mass production of the 6.1" LCD iPhone, although this is down from a 6-week delay baked into the original production forecast, according to suppliers".

Apple is moving along through the beta phase of releasing iOS 12.

The Apple iPhone 9 is expected to launch at Rs 74,999 in India, but since there are a couple of variants, we will have to wait for some hints or some more leaks to have more confidence about the pricing of the Apple iPhone 9 in India. Another rumour that has been doing the rounds in tech communities and forums is that the budget-friendly iPhone equipped with an LCD screen won't be available till October. The 6.1-inch LCD variant is said to feature a single-rear camera, further cutting down on its cost.

Secondly, the purported iPhone X Plus is held next to the iPhone 7 Plus, and comparatively, sports a shorter and narrower form factor.

Well, thanks to a neat piece of hacking via Brazilian Apple blog iHelpBR, that 6.5-inch model has seemingly just been confirmed, with the supersized phone shown to operate much like an iPad when it comes to displaying in-app content. So even if the iPhone 2018 is scheduled for a September release, it's less expensive version will only be available later. Reports suggest that the iPhone maker is already running production tests with suppliers and is expected to announce the new phones later this year. However, the plans could still change.
