During the Comic-Con panel for "Star Trek: Discovery", show co-creator and executive producer Alex Kurtzman announced the upcoming launch of a four-part miniseries titled "Star Trek: Short Treks" this fall.

CBS has unveiled the first two images from the second season of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY. Adding in Spock and Number One, spicing things up with a few new stars, and taking the action into territories previously uncharted are all smart moves for Discovery and will help the series attract more attention - for the right reasons this time.
